INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

• Required Documents for Enrollment

1. A copy of passport biographical page or other equivalent verification of nationality.
2. Completed application form (through the online application system and attach a recent photo).
3. A copy of graduation certificate and transcript of academic records.
4. Two scanned recommendation letters (one from applicant’s previous teacher or employer and one from Indonesian Embassy where the applicant lives)
5. A study plan or letter of motivation in English or Indonesian for studying in Indonesia
6. A copy of English Proficiency Certificate from TOEFL/ITP/IBT/IELTS/ TOEIC.
7. A scanned Medical Certificate from Government Hospital.
8. Financial proof (above USD4,000) must be submitted by using one of the following document:

1. The proof of scholarship
2. A copy of financial statement issued by a financial institution within the past three months.

Beasiswa Kemitraan Negara Berkembang, popularly known as KNB Scholarship, is a prestigious scholarship program offered by the government of Republic of Indonesia to select applicants originating from developing countries. UNY is one of the partners in the program. UNY offers the scholarship for Master's and Doctoral Program. Further information please kindly check this link http://knb.kemdikbud.go.id  

Eligible applicants:

1. Master’s and doctoral programs are eligible for candidates up to 40 years old.
2. Candidates must submit all required documents in English. (Document in languages other than English or Indonesian must be translated into English).
3. Candidates who do not fulfill the required documents will not be considered.
