YSU Postgraduate Program Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the Graduate School of YSU for alumni who have just graduated from the Undergraduate and Masters study programs in the YSU and have a cum laude predicate. The scholarship quota is determined by the Graduate School. Scholarship recipients will be appointed by the Graduate School together with the Deans of the faculties, who have submitted the names of cum laude graduates who are nominated as scholarship recipients.

Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI)

The Indonesian Education Scholarship is a scholarship program funded by the Indonesian government through the use of the National Education Development Fund (DPPN) and managed by the Education Fund Provider Institute (LPDP), the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, which is aimed at Master or Doctoral students, both currently studying in Indonesia and abroad. The aim of this program is to accelerate the availability of qualified Masters or Doctoral graduates who can contribute to science and technology.

This scholarship is open to YSU students who will take the Joint Degree for Doctoral Program in Technology Education  in collaboration with Technische University Dresden (TUD), Germany. This scholarship must be submitted 1 (one) academic year prior to the registration of prospective new students. Further information can be accessed online via  http://www.lpdp.kemenkeu.go.id/.

Indonesian Lecturer Excellence Scholarships

  • Indonesian-Domestic Lecturers (BUDI-DN)

The Indonesian - Domestic Lecturer Excellence Scholarship (BUDI-DN) is opened for Permanent Lecturers  within the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education who have a National Lecturer Identification Number (NIDN). This scholarship uses an online system that can be accessed by students via http://budi.ristekdikti.go.id/dn/ Some of the requirements for BUDI-DN applicants are as follows:

  1. Lecturers at universities organized by the Government and the private sector within the Ministry of Research and Technology and Higher Education who already have NIDN.
  2. Fulfill the requirements of the Learning Assignment stipulated in the Minister of National Education Regulation Number 48 of 2009.
  3. Scholarships are not awarded to applicants to obtain a second degree at the same strata.
  4. Scholarships are given to students who start studying in odd semesters (lectures start in September).
  5. The age limit for domestic scholarship recipients for Lecturers is 45 years for the Masters Program and 50 years for the Doctoral Program as of December 1 of the current year.
  • Indonesian-Overseas Lecturers (BUDI-LN)

The Indonesian - Overseas Lecturer Excellence Scholarship (BUDI-LN) is opened for Permanent Lecturers (PTN and PTS) within the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education who have a National Lecturer Identification Number (NIDN) who will earn a doctoral degree. This scholarship uses an on line system that can be accessed by students via http://budi.ristekdikti.go.id/ln/ Some of the requirements for BUDI-LN applicants are as follows:

  1. Lecturers at universities organized by the Government and the private sector within the Ministry of Research and Technology and Higher Education who already have NIDN.
  2. Fulfill the requirements of the Learning Assignment stipulated in the Minister of National Education Regulation Number 48 of 2009.
  3. Not currently carrying out further studies or an active student at the Doctoral Program level at a designated university abroad (on-going).
  4. Not to get a second degree at the same strata.
  5. Already have an unconditional LOA (Letter of Acceptance) from overseas universities.
  6. Applicant's age does not exceed 47 years as of December 31 of the current year.
  7. Obtaining permission to continue their studies from the leaders of state universities or the Regional Kopertis coordinator for private universities lecturers.

The Domestic Excellence Scholarship Program

The Domestic Excellence Scholarship Program is an effort of the Ministry of Education and Culture in improving the quality of human resources, both for teachers, social activists, artists, high achieving students and athletes who have won international Olympic medals, national and international champions in the fields of science, technology, arts and culture. and sports, outstanding teachers in various fields, employees / employees who excel and get approval and are recommended by their superiors, and social activists.

The main priority of the Excellence Scholarship program is for students to continue their studies at the Bachelor, Masters, and or Doctoral level at a minimum accredited B-accredited university and A-accredited study program from Indonesian universities. Dissertation Research Grant Scholarship

The Dissertation Research Grant is a scholarship provided by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DP2M) of the Directorate General of Higher Education for Doctoral Program students. The grant is in the form of a Doctoral Dissertation Research grant, which the substance of the research is part of the dissertation. International Publication Quality Improvement Scholarship (PKPI)

Registration for the International Publication Quality Improvement Scholarship (PKPI) is for Doctoral Program students at postgraduate BPP-DN administrators. Further information can be opened via the page http://beasiswa.dikti.go.id/pkpi/

Developing Countries Partnership Scholarship (KNB)

This scholarship, also called the Developing Countries Partnership Program on Scholarship, is intended to enhance cooperation and partnerships between non-aligned countries. Scholarships are awarded to students from developing non-aligned member countries who wish to study at PPs UNY. Initially this scholarship program was limited to master level students, and then starting in 2014 this scholarship was also given to doctoral students. Students who have received this scholarship include from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Korea, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Usbekistan, Turkey, Burundi, Ethiopia, Guyana, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Madagascar, Suriname, Tanzania, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Colombia. Ministry of Religion 5000 Doctor Scholarships

The 5000 Doctoral Scholarship is a flagship program of the Directorate General of Islamic Education which was officially launched by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo in December 2014. This program is intended to improve the quality of educators and educational staff in Islamic Religious Universities through doctoral education in various high quality abortion.
